While some samples need to be as small and compact as possible, other modules are meant to impress on a larger scale. For the green roof training programme at Syntra Midden-Vlaanderen, a life-size mock-up was required to demonstrate the correct build-up of a green roof — and they came to the right place.

The mock-up consisted of a fully finished flat roof with EPDM, including a skylight, penetrations and drainage, and was realised in a 3 × 3 metre format. Thanks to the exceptional transport provided by our neighbour Frits Heirman in Zele, everything was delivered safely to the client.
